BBS Publications International (Private) Limited, a BOI approved company, is seeking applications from experienced professionals for the below position in Sri Lanka. BBS Publications publishes educational, informative and tourism publications.
The Company is looking for bright, result-oriented team personnel to be part of this exciting company. All positions are based in Colombo

THE CANDIDATE
The candidate will be responsible in developing the local and overseas markets by:
• Identifying prospective customers through market research
• Contacting the leads/prospects by telephone and email.
• Following sales and assessing opportunities for the publications we offer
• Schedule appointments with leads/prospects.
• Maintaining and updating databases for leads meet or exceeding the set performance targets.
• Reporting daily, weekly and monthly status to top management.

QUALIFICATIONS
Should possess either full or part qualification from CIM.
Other qualifications connected with the job to be undertaken

SKILLS and APTITUDES
• Excellent communication skills in English – both oral and written.
• Minimum 3-5 years experience with sales calling
• Hard-working, possess perseverance and be exceptional at following-up
• A go-getter with a positive, can-do attitude, assertive, confident & results-oriented
• Willingness to learn and take up challenges.
• Be a good team player
• Good knowledge of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Outlook.
• Pleasing personality
• Loyal and discreet
• Love of the job
• Career oriented
