Temporary Assignments for School Leavers
at BBS Publications Intl Private Ltd. in Colombo 5 : Thimbirigasyaya
We are a BOI approved Publications company, and we are looking to recruit 25 school leavers on temporary assignments.
Each assignment’s duration will be between 3 to 6 weeks
The job specifications include:
- Communicating with corporate clients.
- Presentation of the product/service
- The distribution and compilation of questionnaires.
We will offer a 5-day un-paid training to the selected students in communication, presentation and marketing.
During the training week, the company will offer:
1. Tea at 10 am and 2 p.m
2. Lunch at 1p.m
The weeks or days deployed on the market, the students will receive an indemnity in the form of:
1. Bus fees
2. Lunch
3. Rs. 50 per client visited and questionnaire filled in (possibility to visit between 5-7 a day)
Payment to the student will be done on a weekly basis and a service certificate will be issued upon completion of each assignment.
The students we are looking for are:

- Fluent in English (written and spoken a must) and in Sinhalese

Interviews are scheduled by prior appointment for Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 November at 166/25B Elvitigala Mawatha from 09:00 am to 5:30 pm.
The training will start Monday 22nd November 2009 at 09:00 am sharp.
We expect you to come to the interview dressed smartly and neatly as if you would for visiting a client.
At the interview you will be required to fill in a questionnaire.
You are also required to bring with you:
1. Your school certificates (originals and 1 photocopy)
2. 2 passport size photographs
